Job Title: Duty Manager - Lifeguard

About this Opportunity:

The Duty Manager - Lifeguard will lead and manage the lifeguard team, exemplifying high standards of safety and service delivery to patrons at the Aquatics Centre.

This role requires someone who is passionate about safety, with excellent people management skills. You'll work 35 hours per week, rostered between Wednesday to Sunday, 7 hours per day within the pool operating hours.

You'll need a high work ethic, commitment to professional presentation and ability to maintain an appropriate level of fitness throughout employment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and deliver the Aquatic Supervision Plan during your role of lifeguard management and operational duties;
  • E nsure the safety of all the patrons of the Aquatic center, overseeing the incident management process;
  • Management, rostering, development, training and growth of the lifeguard team;
  • Championing the delivery of exceptional customer service to patrons of the Aquatic Center.

Requirements:

  • P ool Lifeguard;
  • First Aid and CPR certificates;
  • Blue Card;
  • Advanced Resuscitation (desirable);
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the aquatics industry & experience leading a team of lifeguards.
