As a Home Care Support Assistant, you will be working with our clients in their homes and in the community. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Care: assisting with showering, oral care, and continence management
  • Medication Assistance: administering and monitoring medications, assisting with dressings and basic observations
  • Food Preparation: preparing, cooking, and serving meals
  • Community Support: escorting clients on community outings, such as shopping trips, excursions, and appointments
  • Transport: transporting clients to medical and allied health appointments, hospital visits, and respite care
  • Domestic Support: cleaning, tidying, and changing bedding to ensure a safe and clean environment for our clients

We offer a competitive salary package, including hourly rates between $31.82 and $36.07, depending on qualifications. You will also receive reimbursement for work-related travel expenses.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or a related field, medication qualification, and experience in aged or community care. You must be willing to travel and have excellent communication skills. We value a non-judgmental approach and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
