As a mental health clinician, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers emergency aeromedical and allied health services to people in rural and remote Australia.
About The RoleThis role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals, families, and groups in regional and remote communities.
- Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions, manage client caseloads, and coordinate care with internal teams and local services.
- Monitor clinical risk, participate in regular supervision, and refer clients within the stepped care framework.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support client outcomes and promote the service through community engagement.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality improvement activities.
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in mental health social work, psychology, or credentialled mental health nursing.
- Minimum five years of clinical experience supporting individuals across all age groups in mental health settings.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and care planning, with a deep understanding of challenges faced by rural and remote communities.
- Satisfactory completion of safety screening checks.
