Lead Civil Infrastructure Projects

The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile civil infrastructure projects across growth corridors and charming small roads in the hills. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering meaningful infrastructure that directly improves the community's daily life.


Your Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Delivery

Plan, design, and deliver civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, and bridges. Ensure quality, budget, and timelines are met.

Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with internal teams, residents, and external stakeholders to deliver community-focused outcomes.

Critical Problem-Solving

Solve complex engineering challenges with creativity and sound judgment.

Process Improvement

Drive innovation and continuous improvement across our infrastructure portfolio.


Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in Engineering and eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia (or equivalent).

Proven Experience

Proven experience in civil project management, ideally within local government or similar environments.

Technical Knowledge

A strong understanding of construction standards, regulations, and contract administration.

Communication Skills

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders and the community.

Independent Decision-Making

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.

Licence and Registration

A current Victorian driver's licence and registration as a Professional Engineer.
