Senior Legal Counsel

We are currently seeking an experienced legal advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality legal work aligned with business objectives, demonstrating excellence in tendering processes and maintaining technical standards.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing clear concise legal advice and recommendations for tendering and identifying areas of uncertainty.
  • Balance excellence and pragmatism in tendering by managing deviations from benchmarks and minimizing risk exposure.
  • Advise on delivery phase matters and develop strategies to prevent disputes.
Requirements:
  • Qualified lawyer with at least 8 years of experience.
  • Current practising certificate in an Australian jurisdiction.
  • Proven track record in construction law, contracts, and dispute resolution.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and build trust.
