Job Overview

This leadership role oversees the safe and efficient movement of regulated blasting materials to customer sites across Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead warehouse and distribution operations across multiple manufacturing sites, prioritizing safety, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring seamless logistics.
  • Maintain robust systems for inventory control, transport scheduling, and regulatory reporting, guaranteeing transparency and accountability.
  • Support daily management of Class 1 carrier contracts, driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering strong relationships with carriers.
  • Manage a team of direct reports and indirect reports across various locations, promoting operational excellence and teamwork.
Key Requirements
  • A strong commitment to safety-first operations, with a proven track record in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management.
  • Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of compliance and safety requirements related to hazardous goods transportation and storage.
