We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Computer Systems Engineer Lead to join our team at Leidos in Alice Springs, Australia.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in signals intelligence operations and will provide system engineering, integration, and test (SEI&T) support to 24/7 mission operations.

This role involves solving complex problems and managing operations projects with minimal oversight. The candidate will provide input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead systems engineering, integration, and test support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule, and implement projects from inception through system transition.
  • Manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the customer to inform decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout, and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.
  • Expertly communicate with multiple levels within the program, other contractor, and government stakeholders to positively influence policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Lead SEI&T on state-of-the-art systems in a dense and dynamic environment.
  • Oversee, maintain, and supply expert-level tradecraft and systems knowledge to enable operations.
  • Lead the integration of government systems and provide training assistance on tools and collection.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience in signals collection, real-time operations, or signals analysis, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in systems engineering, integration, and test in specialized intelligence systems.
  • Requirements analysis and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven experience and proficiency with Signals Intelligence collection tools and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and constructively with leaders across the site.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph and US Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in multiple types of SIGINT collection or technical work at customer sites.
  • Experience with specialized IC SIGINT tasking, collection, exploitation, analysis, and mapping tools.
  • Knowledge of specific customer requirements and intelligence oversight policies.
  • Ability to evaluate and document system inaccuracies and identify improvements.

The estimated salary for this role is $126,100 - $227,950 per annum. Please note that this range is based on industry standards and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
