Senior Business Development Officer

About the Role:

This prominent organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced individual proficient in Japanese language to support managers in ensuring the portfolio is managed consistently with operational and strategic framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to JC Oceania's gross profit target by sharing profit opportunities/ideas with relationship managers found through credit/sector analysis, and supporting relationship managers for pitch book/proposal preparation.
  • Facilitate credit, obtain client's credit information, and execute with relevant internal parties. Communicate with HQ credit divisions on credit matters and address questionnaires.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relationship managers, client service teams, and operations. Proactively approach collaboration with team members.
  • Adhere to all bank policies and guidelines. Understand the importance of risk management, credit assessment framework, and identify issues/opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A few years' experience in Financial Institutions, Credit Agencies, Accounting Firms, Consultancies, or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills and team spirit.
  • High level of personal responsibility and self-discipline.
  • PREFERRED - good understanding of corporate banking products.
  • Japanese language skill.
  • Unlimited work rights such as Permanent resident, Citizen, Partner Visa holder.
