About the Role

The purpose of this position is to support small business customers by providing lending and working capital solutions. As a Small Business Specialist, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals.

This role involves:

  • Providing excellent customer service and solutions to a broad range of business customers.
  • Building and maintaining strong internal and external networks.
  • Meeting and exceeding performance targets.
  • F2F collaboration with ABN.
  • Engaging in outbound customer calls to engage with existing customers and discover additional customer needs.
  • F2F engagement with the local community, including building and maintaining a Circle of Influence.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in areas such as:

  • Relationship Management: Building, maintaining, and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Business Development: Partnering with individuals and/or organisations to pursue strategic initiatives, relationships, and/or opportunities to drive commercial value.
  • Customer Solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/or providing considered options that meet those needs.
  • Credit Analysis: Assessing a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors such as character, capital, capacity to repay, collateral (security), and conditions.
  • Knowledge of small business operations, lending, and transaction banking and working capital solutions.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of around $70,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
