As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting dysphagia and communication assessments and interventions for adults living in residential aged care and the community. You will have access to extensive resources, internal clinical supervision and opportunities to attend workshops and professional development programs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing your calendar of appointments and maintaining accurate records
- Conducting thorough assessments and diagnoses of swallowing and communication difficulties
- Potential for national travel to support clients in regional locations
- Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessments and interventions
- Liaising with our national team of Speech Pathologists to ensure seamless service delivery
- Advocating for support for clients with communication difficulties
- Collaborating closely with organisational staff and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met
