Job Title: School Communication SpecialistAbout the Role:The School Communication Specialist will work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and staff to deliver effective communication services and develop capacity within schools.This involves working in a consultative framework to support diverse learners, strengthen individual skills, and train teaching staff in program implementation and management.Frequent school visits are a key component of this role, requiring strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.The successful applicant will have formal qualifications in Speech Pathology, eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, and demonstrated ability to select and apply current methodologies in speech language pathology services.They will also possess strong diagnostic assessment and program implementation skills, as well as the ability to operate in teams and develop professional networks.The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting child safety and supporting the objectives, vision, and ethos of their employer.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver therapy services to students, parents, and teachers
  • Develop and implement programs to support diverse learners

Required Skills and Qualifications:
