About the Role

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our hospital after hours. The incumbent will work closely with the executive team to drive business objectives and deliver high-quality patient care.

The After-Hours Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing patient flow, liaising with VMOs and external facilities, and managing unplanned staff leave. Additionally, they will coordinate emergency responses and ensure seamless continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient flow to optimize healthcare delivery
  • Liaise with medical officers and external partners to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage staff absences and update HR records
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical support

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration
  • Postgraduate experience in public or private healthcare
  • Proven management skills
  • Familiarity with quality improvement and accreditation standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
