As a pivotal member of our operational team, the After Hours Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth management of our hospital outside regular working hours.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage patient flow after hours, including planned and unplanned admissions, liaising with medical officers and external facilities to ensure seamless care.
  • Manage staff absences and update our timekeeping system to reflect changes after hours.
  • Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns and feedback from patients and their families in a timely manner.
About You:
  • AHPRA registration is essential for this role.
  • You will have postgraduate experience in public or private healthcare, including clinical nursing practice.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience at a departmental level is required.
  • You will need to demonstrate knowledge of quality improvement and accreditation standards.
