Family Day Care Coordinator Role Overview

The Family Day Care Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our family day care program. This involves ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, as well as managing enrolments, schedules, and staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management:
    • Oversee daily program operations to ensure smooth delivery of services.
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Manage programme enrolment, scheduling, and staff allocation effectively.
  • Communication and Support:
    • Act as primary point of contact for parents, caregivers, and educators.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to family day care educators.
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families and the community.
  • Educational Leadership:
    • Develop and implement educational programmes and activities that promote learning and development.
    • Monitor and evaluate programme quality to ensure high standards are met.
    • Stay current with best practices and industry developments through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Passion for early childhood education and development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
