Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Power Pole Supervisor to lead construction teams delivering major energy transition projects. This is a key leadership role overseeing pole installation and associated distribution line works across large-scale infrastructure including substations, distribution networks, transmission lines, EPS upgrades, solar farms, and decarbonisation programs.

This is a full-time FIFO position offering long-term opportunities, with successful candidates securing 18 to 24 months of ongoing project work. The role will involve supervising the safe installation, replacement, and maintenance of power poles and associated equipment, managing crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the safe installation, replacement, and maintenance of power poles and associated equipment.
  • Manage crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project standards.
  • Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and enforce safety compliance at all times.
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers, and client representatives to coordinate works.
  • Monitor progress against schedules and provide daily reporting to site management.
  • Mentor and support team members to maintain high performance and strong safety culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • OHS Construction Card (White Card).
  • Current Driver's Licence (HR preferred).
  • High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogging/Rigging advantageous).
  • Certificate III in ESI – Distribution or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven supervisory experience in pole and line construction projects.
  • Previous FIFO experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
  • Two contactable work-related references.
