Our school is seeking a skilled and dedicated Psychology Services Provider to join our team at Applecross Senior High School. This rewarding role will enable you to contribute to the wellbeing of students by providing direct support and collaborating with the Student Services team to identify emerging needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and staff, and provide direct student support to promote positive outcomes.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of wellbeing programs that promote a positive school culture and support student engagement.

  • Support students through individual and group sessions, as well as whole-class interventions, to address their unique needs and challenges.

  • Collaborate with the Student Services team to identify and respond to emerging needs, ensuring that all students receive the support they require to thrive.

Qualifications and Eligibility:

  • Hold or be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights.

  • Obtain a valid Working With Children Check and Screening Clearance Number.

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to implement psychology services and programs that promote positive student outcomes.

  • High level written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a self-directed manner, with a high level of autonomy and independence.

  • Ability to apply analytical and conceptual skills to identify and address emerging needs, and develop effective solutions to complex problems.
