Home Care Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to provide high-intensity daily personal activities to individuals with disabilities in their own homes.

This role involves traveling between clients and working short, split shifts, providing flexibility for secondary employment or study commitments.

The successful candidate will have experience in providing complex bowel care and manual handling, including hoist transfers. They will also be able to commit to a variety of client session times across various suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA)
  • Assist with hoist transfers
  • Support individuals with daily living (including personal care)
  • Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
  • Maintain and monitor person-centred plans
  • Documenting and progress note keeping

Requirements:

  • Experience providing HIDPA
  • Previous experience supporting people with disability in a home care setting
  • Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care
  • Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care
