This challenging role requires a dedicated professional who can provide intensive wrap-around case management, advocacy, and referral support to clients experiencing complex challenges.
- Caseworker responsibilities include developing client-led case plans using trauma-informed and culturally safe approaches, engaging in outreach service delivery, and accompanying clients to appointments as needed.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in case management, preferably within domestic and family violence/homelessness contexts.
The successful practitioner will have a strong understanding of First Nations peoples, cultures, and society, and the issues which impact them. A commitment to strengths-based, feminist, trauma-informed, and culturally safe practice is essential.
About YouWe seek an empathetic and experienced professional who can thrive in supporting women and children in crisis. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated case management skills and knowledge of child protection, trauma, mental health, AOD, and legal issues impacting families.
- A tertiary qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence, National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and First Aid certificate.
