Job Title: Cybersecurity Mainframe Specialist

Main Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity professional to work effectively with our Regional and Global Security teams.
  • The ideal candidate will adhere to both customer and corporate standards and responsibilities, participating in the creation of documentation such as process and procedural documentation.
  • This role will take the lead in developing process improvements and administer security policies to control access to systems.
  • The successful candidate will work on complex issues requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, participate in vendor and platform upgrades, and manage SSL Certificates in Mainframe environments.
  • Key responsibilities include performing ACF2/RACF application and agency level access control to meet access management business requirements and ensure compliance with industry and federal government security standards.
  • This role is available for off-hours escalations as 2nd and 3rd tier of on-call support, serving as a technical liaison and subject matter expert in business interactions.
  • The candidate will provide 'level 3' support and problem management guidance for the platform team and escalate issues to vendors/manufacturers for technical support as needed.
  • This position will also participate in audits and contribute to the development of comprehensive security strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in Cyber Security
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Mainframe security
  • Strong knowledge in ACF2/RACF security Architecture
  • Solid understanding of best security practices
  • Quick learner and showing interest in learning new technologies
  • Relevant Information Security certification (CISSP/CCNA) desirable
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field required
