Job Description

Maintaining critical systems, delivering operational support, and ensuring system reliability in a 24x7 environment is crucial for this role.

The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience in mainframe support, software migration, and maintenance, as well as the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Provide operational and technical support for mainframe systems in a z15 z/OS environment.
  • Manage software maintenance, including patching and upgrading software using SMP/E.
  • Perform operational monitoring, alerting, and tuning for system performance.
  • Support application teams and management with mainframe expertise.
  • Operate and monitor master console activities.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of incident/problem tickets.
  • Maintain and enhance middleware, scheduler, and batch processing systems.
  • Ensure security compliance through RACF and Natural Security administration.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with technical teams and stakeholders.
