Trade Fitter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Trade qualified professional to join our team based at Miles, QLD, with occasional travel to surrounding sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of mechanical servicing, maintenance, installations, and upgrades of fixed and mobile plant and equipment.

  • Fault finding and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Attending to equipment failure or breakdowns
  • Preventing and correcting maintenance tasks

The ideal candidate has a relevant trade certificate in mechanical, fitting and turning, boiler maker or similar. They must have proven fault-finding capabilities, be proactive and safety-focused, computer literate, self-motivated, reliable, with solid time management abilities and high-standard communication skills.

This permanent position involves working collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems
  • Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
