We are seeking a skilled mechanical fitter to perform various tasks.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for mechanical servicing, maintenance, installations and upgrades of fixed and mobile plant and equipment.

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Attending to equipment failure or breakdowns as required
  • Preparing and submitting maintenance reports
  • Record keeping using a computerized platform

The successful applicant will have a trade certificate in mechanical, fitting and turning, boiler making, or similar. Proven fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to safety are essential.

Computer literate and self-motivated, you'll have excellent time management abilities and communication skills.

Additionally, a high standard of work quality is expected, with an emphasis on efficiency and productivity.
