We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.
- Develop Personalized Rehabilitation Plans: Create comprehensive rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
- Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Complete a range of assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).
- Identify Return to Work Pathways: Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary Qualification: A tertiary qualification in either Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Exercise Physiology.
- Registration and Accreditation: Appropriate registration with AHPRA or ESSA/SIRA Accreditation.
- Full Australian Working Rights: Hold full Australian working rights.
- Current Driver's License and Car: Possess a current driver's license and car.
