Overview

This is a 12-month maternity leave cover role at Microsoft, where you will be responsible for leading the Azure Go-To-Market strategy for the field to deliver customer and partner success, resulting in revenue, growth, and share outcomes for Azure-aligned priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Azure business in alignment with other business owners;
  • Empower customers to migrate and innovate apps to the cloud and enable them to build skills and govern their cloud journey;
  • Build and land growth plans to win and maximize the local market opportunity, based on the WW Azure priorities;
  • Drive business outcomes by executing local Azure Go-To-Market plans to exceed business targets;
  • Provide input on local integrated marketing plan development by providing business objectives to CMO IMMs;
  • Build a comprehensive event plan, including locally required events, for the fiscal year to harmonize with CMO.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience;
  • 8+ years of experience with any of the following: drive marketing and partner programs; product marketing; business planning; product management; customer and market analysis; Go-to-Market strategy and execution; competitive market analysis and positioning; organize and drive product roadmaps; develop insights from market research; sales enablement and field support; build and execute marketing plans and strategies; OR related.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting documentation such as manager and employee communications, FAQs, and standard operating processes;
  • Ability to consult with global technology, legal, operations, trade, IT, and information security policy, process, and system owners;
  • Experience working in a global, large-scale, complex, and fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to consult on the development of business requirements for new/existing system implementations and enhancements;
  • Deep customer focus and understanding;
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze business performance, identify market opportunity, and develop useful insights from data;
  • Ability to influence without authority, collaborate effectively, and lead virtual teams;
  • Effective communicator, skilled presenter, and growth-minded interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous business situations; be open to acting quickly and iterating;
  • Track record of strong influencing and stakeholder management skills;
  • Experience acting as an evangelist and subject matter expert for product;
  • Ability to proactively identify and act on opportunities to foster a diverse and inclusive environment;
  • Ability to have impact beyond own operating unit focus, building best practices and frameworks that scale to success across the team.
