Bid Manager

Thales Australia is seeking a skilled Bid Manager to join our team in Melbourne CBD. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing allocated bids in the Guided Weapons business portfolio, focusing on commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assembled bids teams to meet business objectives, with some project management involved.
- Ensure project objectives in relation to cost, time, safety, and quality are achieved.
- Develop high-quality and competitive bid offers.
- Adhere to the Thales Bid Management & Governance framework.
- At least three years' Bid Management experience with multi-partners/major co-contractors.
- Demonstrated experience in developing commercial proposals, business cases, or related outcomes in a cross-functional team environment.
- Degree qualified in business, engineering, project management, or other suitable discipline.
- IPMA Certification or ability to secure certification.
- Proven leadership skills with high-level interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Australian Citizenship to be eligible for Defence Security Clearance.
