About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team in Melbourne. As a Bid Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the bid team in the submission of tenders for major infrastructure projects.
You'll work closely with our project teams to develop win strategies, lead bid teams, and coordinate multidisciplinary project functions. You'll also be responsible for navigating executive reviews and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement win strategies to maximize the likelihood of winning tenders.
- Lead bid teams to achieve exceptional outcomes and ensure timely submission of tenders.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project functions, including technical specialists, delivery partners, and subcontractors.
- Navigate executive reviews and corporate governance to ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
- Provide direction and manage workloads to ensure high-performance tender teams.
- Experience in construction, project management, engineering, tendering, or operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with varying audiences.
- Able to manage a team under time and budget constraints.
- Strategic, forward thinking, and organized, with a comfort level with change and quick adjustment.
- Ability to navigate complex problem-solving through analysis, engaging experts, and developing informed recommendations.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to constructively engage with clients.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Sciences, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.
