About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team as a Clinical Therapist. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and therapeutic interventions to clients using established evidence-based techniques and methodologies.
You will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal child development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions to clients using evidence-based techniques and methodologies.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives that enhance the delivery of our services.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in speech pathology.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology with general registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
- Demonstrated ability to apply a high level of clinical judgment and to prepare and present accurate reports relating to the outcome assessment and intervention of a client.
- Ability to work with a culturally and socially diverse group of clients, and to apply a culturally responsive framework to guide interventions.
- Demonstrated ability to administer assessments and undertake specialized, comprehensive clinical assessments.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal client outcomes.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Previous experience working with clients who have an NDIS package.
