Speech Pathologist Role Overview

This role involves providing life-changing speech pathology to NDIS participants in Western Melbourne and surrounding areas. As a Speech Pathologist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same:

  • You'll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
  • You'll utilize an evidence-based measurement tool and your skills in assessment, creating therapy plans and providing life-changing speech pathology to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
  • You'll work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals
  • You'll build meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
Key Responsibilities

This position includes:

  • Providing high-quality speech pathology services to clients in Western Melbourne and surrounding areas
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client outcomes
  • Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology
  • SPA Registration
  • A positive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and a team player
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
  • A valid driver's license
  • An NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • A Working with Childrens Check
