Lead Speech Pathologist – Western Melbourne Opportunity

Speech Pathologist Role OverviewThis role involves providing life-changing speech pathology to NDIS participants in Western Melbourne and surrounding areas. As a Speech Pathologist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same:
- You'll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
- You'll utilize an evidence-based measurement tool and your skills in assessment, creating therapy plans and providing life-changing speech pathology to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
- You'll work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals
- You'll build meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
This position includes:
- Providing high-quality speech pathology services to clients in Western Melbourne and surrounding areas
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve client outcomes
- Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology
- SPA Registration
- A positive and flexible approach to work
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- A valid driver's license
- An NDIS Workers Screening Check
- A Working with Childrens Check
As a Speech Pathologist at Everyday Independence, you can expect:
