Paediatric Speech Pathologist

Yooralla is seeking a passionate and experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team in Sunshine or Newport. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to children with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support, resources, and information as part of the key worker model to meet the family's individual needs in a range of settings.
- Use a family-centred approach and draw on the skills of the larger team to develop goals and strategies with the family to support their identified priorities.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists.
- Provide indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals.
- Work with clients and families with complex needs.
- Manage your own caseload and appointments.
- Drive to homes and community settings within a 30-minute radius.
- Work in a flexible schedule and environment, such as home, office, or community.
You will be an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification, a member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), and good interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to engage with families using a family-centred, key worker approach and work collaboratively with a team to support clients and families.
To be successful in this role, you will share Yooralla's values and have experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model, the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families, and the opportunity to build on your clinical practice.
