Take your career to new heights as a Fixed Wing Operations Manager with the Queensland Government Air, leading a team of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers supporting our Fixed Wing operations in Pinkenba and Cairns.

About the Role

You will be responsible for controlling, organising, planning and supervising all engineering activities ensuring that all aircraft maintenance is conducted at the highest standard of regulatory compliance. The position reports to the Head of Engineering providing support in maintaining high levels of operational efficiency and reliability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure all aircraft maintenance is conducted with the highest standard of regulatory compliance.
  • Manage a team of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers supporting our Fixed Wing operations.
  • Control, organise, plan and supervise all engineering activities including tooling procurement records management and training.
Requirements
  • A current CASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 & C Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.
  • Minimum ten (10) years experience as a LAME in aviation maintenance and engineering management and coordination.
  • Advanced knowledge of current CASA regulatory legislation as it relates to CAR 30 and/or Part 145 maintenance organisation.
