Family Care Specialist

About the Role:

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Care Specialist to provide essential support and care to clients in their homes. This role requires attention to detail, patience, and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Care for pets and administer medications as needed
  • Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Support clients with exercise, such as walking
  • Feed or assist with feeding
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Manage medication and daily living activities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is an asset. A patient and understanding demeanor, reliability, punctuality, and excellent interpersonal skills are also required.
