Job Title: In-Home Care Specialist

As an In-Home Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, seniors, and those recovering from injuries. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by helping them regain independence and live comfortably in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Personal care assistance, including showering, grooming, and dressing.
  • Social support through companionship and accompanying clients to appointments or community activities.
  • Capacity-building activities to enhance skills and increase independence.
  • Domestic assistance with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light household cleaning.
  • Recording attendance and task completion through a smartphone application.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Able to provide proactive support for individuals with unique needs and preferences.
  • Commitment to work arrangements that cater to the physical, psychological, and social support needs of clients.
  • Flexibility to work within school hours, with casual positions available.
  • Reliability and strong communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Qualifications:
  • National Police Check (less than a year old) or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Victorian Driver's License and comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care, Personal Assistance).
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check is advantageous.
