Lead Therapist Role

About the Position
  • To provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to therapists and other professionals working with children.
  • To develop and implement effective strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to lead and manage teams effectively. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering best-practice therapy services that make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including families, schools, and community organizations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our strategic plan.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on therapeutic interventions and service delivery models.
  • Mentor and supervise junior therapists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic interventions and service delivery models.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of our strategic plan.
Working Requirements
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Employee – Victoria)
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Victorian Drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
About Us

We deliver therapeutic intervention and capacity building supports to children aged 0-10 years and their families.

We service families through the NDIS, Department of Education's Continuity of Support program and also provide capacity building supports to educators through the School Readiness Funding (SRF) program.

We are committed to best practice within the early childhood intervention space and deliver our services through the Key Worker model by using a Transdisciplinary Practice (TDP) approach and for more complex cases, a Team Around the Child (TAC) approach.
