Establishing a robust security posture is crucial for any organization. Our Security Technologies Team is responsible for the 24/7 operation of Network Security and System Security technologies within our enterprise.

The team's primary focus is on the management and support of Secure Web Gateway (SaSE), NextGen Firewall (NGFW), Remote Access & Edge Protection technologies. Key responsibilities include managing various network security projects, operational activities, and ensuring rapid recovery from complex enterprise incidents.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and attaining root cause of complex enterprise incidents using data mining or network analysis tools such as Splunk and Wireshark is essential. Additionally, the role requires expertise in patching, upgrading, performance monitoring, and tuning of security platforms.

A solid understanding of Firewalls, Network Access Control, and Endpoint Protection/Endpoint Detection & Response is necessary. Operational oversight on change management, patch management, and support documentation quality control is also required.

Performing network-centric security risk assessments for IT activities and projects is another key responsibility. A deep appreciation of how various security technologies knit together to provide a resilient layered enterprise defense is crucial.

This position requires an innate ability to problem solve, strive for change, and bring vast security experience in delivering large-scaled projects and solving high-pressure enterprise-grade technical issues.

Minimum 5 years of experience in delivering large enterprise security solutions is necessary. Commercial hands-on experience in Secure Web Gateway SASE (Cloud/On-prem Proxy), NextGen Firewall (NGFW), Remote Access (SSL & IPsec VPN) & Edge Protection (ADC/WAF, CDN, Bot Protection) is required.

Experience with using automation during deployment and management, including Bash, Python, Ansible, Azure Devops, Terraform, REST APIs, is necessary. Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally in Azure but would consider GCP as well, is required.

DevOps or DevSecOps, Infrastructure-as-code CI/CD and API Security experience is also necessary. Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies/practices: cryptography, PKI and CA's, deep packet inspection, OSI 7-layer networking model, is required.

A solid understanding of general switching fundamentals (trunking, link aggregation etc) and a working knowledge of routing principals particularly BGP is necessary.
