Job Title: Machine Operator

This role involves working in a production facility based in Melbourne, where you will be responsible for general production work involving meat handling, operating machinery, carrying out quality and testing checks, and cleaning and maintaining site facilities.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work comfortably with all meat products - beef, pork and lamb - and in a cool room environment for shifts. A full availability to work 10-12 hours for 3 to 4 shifts per week across Monday to Sunday is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General production work involving meat handling
  • Operating machinery as per standard operating procedures
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks as per standard operating procedures
  • Cleaning, washing and maintenance of site facilities

Requirements:

  • Comfortable working with all meat products - beef, pork and lamb
  • Ability to work in a cool room environment
  • Full availability to work 10-12 hours for 3 to 4 shifts per week
