Key Role: Pricing Specialist

About the Job

This strategic position involves developing and implementing pricing strategies tailored to product family groups, requiring a strong analytical approach and willingness to learn industry dynamics.

You will collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to gather market intelligence and incorporate it into data-driven pricing decisions, necessitating a sharp eye for detail and proactive mindset.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Pricing management across contracts, customer rebates, and ad hoc scenarios while maintaining accurate data across all systems.
  • Pricing report generation and analysis.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing accuracy, alignment, and consistency.
  • Providing administrative support to the Strategic Pricing team and management.
  • Management of fixed price agreements and related databases.
  • Rebate contract administration and updates in SAP ERP.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Data analytics or pricing background.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, table arrays, and PivotTables.
  • Proven ability to manage large datasets with high accuracy.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and methodical approach.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and systems.

Tertiary qualification is preferred, or relevant experience may be considered.
