Hotel Chef Position

As a professional and skilled Chef, you will play a vital role in the kitchen team of our hotel, providing guests with high-quality dining experiences. Your culinary expertise and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional food will make a significant impact on our hotel's reputation.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills, able to work effectively under pressure and maintain a clean and hygienic work environment. Experience in a similar role is preferred, especially within a hotel environment.

This full-time position requires strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. If you are passionate about cooking and have a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes across breakfast buffet, à la carte lunch and dinner, and conference catering
  • Support daily operations within a team of chefs and take initiative when working independently
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment and ensure mise en place is ready
  • Uphold food safety standards in line with current regulations
  • Follow stock rotation procedures, minimize wastage, and assist with stock control
  • Care for equipment and report issues to the Executive Chef
Qualifications:
  • Trade qualification in Cookery
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel environment
  • Detail-focused with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality food under pressure
  • Energetic and proactive with enthusiasm to develop culinary expertise
  • A team player who easily builds rapport with colleagues and guests alike
