About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Leisure & Wellness Coordinator to join our team at Nareen Gardens. As a key member of our team, you will provide care and companionship to residents, delivering innovative leisure and lifestyle activities tailored to their needs, interests, and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide staff in planning activities, ensuring liaison with team members, residents, and carers.
  • Ensure all residents participate in activities of interest and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Confirm activity programs with the Manager, including resident involvement, timetables, and resources.
  • Complete evaluations of activities, daily activity participation sheets, and other paperwork, reflecting continuous improvement.
  • Develop activities that account for previous interests and current capabilities, enhancing residents' quality of life.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in aged/community care or lifestyle programs in age care (or equivalent qualifications).
  • Resilience and resourcefulness, with a commitment to our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications (or demonstrated competency).
