Our Leisure and Wellness Team is dedicated to creating a thriving community where residents can engage in meaningful and enjoyable activities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Leisure and Wellness Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide care and companionship to residents and design innovative leisure and lifestyle activities tailored to their needs, interests, and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide staff in planning activities, ensuring liaison with team members, residents, and carers.
  • Ensure all residents can participate in activities of interest and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Confirm activity programs with the Manager, including details on residents involved, timetables, and resources organized.
  • Complete evaluations of activities, daily activity participation sheets, and other paperwork, reflecting continuous improvement.
  • Develop activities that account for previous interests and current capabilities, enhancing residents' quality of life through their hobbies and interests.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle programs in Age Care is ideal, but we welcome qualified and enthusiastic individuals just starting their career.
  • You will need to be resilient and resourceful, living our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness every day.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications or demonstrated competency in the knowledge required for this role.
