Job Overview

We grow, pack, and market fresh produce domestically and internationally. Our products are widely recognized for their quality – Qukes, Broccolini, Calypso mangoes, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic supply plan to ensure optimal volumes, specifications, quality, and regional risk management.
  • Nurture relationships with key suppliers to meet category demands.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate product sourcing and procurement to achieve DIFOT targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to determine cost-effective distribution solutions for customers.
  • Monitor and communicate stock levels internally to ensure rotation and product quality.
  • Research and recommend new or potential product lines or extensions.
  • Support the New Product Development team to identify suitable products and ensure successful launches.
  • Manage seed/breeding companies and nurseries to improve quality on farm and GIFOTQ.
  • Optimize the allocation and weekly balancing of returnable packaging.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role in fresh produce is crucial.
  • Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with third-party growers.
  • Business planning skills and execution capabilities to deliver customer expectations and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter who is a team player; proactive, persuasive, and flexible attitude.
  • Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, horticulture, or related discipline are preferred but not required.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to travel as required.
