As a 'Looper' at our organisation, you will work amongst a team passionate about doing good for the environment and community. Our Recycling Centre Attendants champion the Containers for Change Scheme, ensuring customers return to our centres by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean centre, and ensuring machines and sorting equipment run as intended.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, efficient, and professional environment
  • Cleaning and maintaining reverse vending machines and sorting equipment
  • Ensuring sorting equipment runs efficiently by removing and replacing collection bins
  • Monitoring the recycling centre for hazards and reporting concerns

To be a successful Recycling Centre Attendant, you should have:

  • A passion for recycling and the environment
  • A keen eye for detail and motivation to maintain a clean work environment
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service
  • Physical fitness for manual lifting
