Job Title: Environmental Sustainability SpecialistAbout the Role

This challenging role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact on environmental sustainability through undertaking comprehensive assessments and providing expert advice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of planning and environmental legislation, excellent communication skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake detailed environmental impact assessments and provide strategic advice as part of the statutory planning process.
  • Manage specific environmental projects, including the development of sustainable management plans, strategies, and policies.
  • Prepare and review environmental reports, strategies, and policies.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions for complex environmental problems.
Key Requirements
  • A comprehensive understanding of planning and environmental legislation.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental impact assessment and management principles.
  • Considerable experience in land use planning, environmental management, and/or environmental planning at local or federal level.
