Job Title: Clinical Director of Medicine

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Director of Medicine to lead our team of medical professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Director of Medicine, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, fostering collaboration, and ensuring excellence in clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical governance and ensure compliance with national quality and safety standards.
  • Mentor and guide a team of skilled medical professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with other senior staff to develop innovative models of care.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on patient flow, resource management, and clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in research and academic activities, contributing to the development of future healthcare leaders.
  • Ensure the department adheres to budgetary and resource allocation guidelines, maintaining the integrity of the health service.

What We Offer:

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary package up to $582k, depending on experience and qualifications. The total remuneration package includes a management allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development fund, superannuation, and additional benefits such as salary sacrificing options.

Selection Criteria:

  • FRACP or training completed in UK, Ireland, NZ, USA, South Africa, or Canada.
  • Significant experience in Internal Medicine.
