Key Laboratory Manager Role

The role of a Laboratory Manager is multifaceted and requires strong leadership skills. This individual will oversee the daily operations of our laboratory, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities include facilitating client testing requirements, coordinating with team members to ensure timely delivery, and mentoring staff to develop their testing skills and maintain data integrity.

Collaboration with QA Manager is essential in maintaining compliance with NATA standards and implementing quality systems within the laboratory.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in soils, aggregate, and concrete testing to relevant Australian and Vic Roads standards;
  • Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques, Diploma or Degree-qualification;
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and WHS compliance;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills involving research, analysis, and evaluation of information;
  • Australian Driver's license; and
  • Current or eligible Nuclear gauge license.
