\Job Title: Principal Tailings Engineer\

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design and implementation of tailings storage facilities and water storage facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and geotechnical engineering, as well as experience with numerical modeling tools.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design;\
  • Geotechnical analyses using various software packages;\
  • Understanding of tailing deposition modelling (Muk3D);\
  • Geotechnical and environmental site characterisation;\
  • Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems;\
  • Project/task management and proposal preparation support;\
  • Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications;\

The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. They will also have a Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field, and be registered as a Professional Engineer (optional).
