Job Overview

We are seeking a Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations.

About the Role
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate results.
  • Develop and implement system efficiencies to optimize service delivery standards.
  • Work with stakeholders to design contingency plans for data security.
  • Collaborate with HR Services to align payroll services with organisational requirements.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching for team members.
Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and industrial instruments.
  • Design and implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations.
  • Represent the organisation's payroll needs on inter-Diocesan working parties.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and coaching for team members.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of payroll processing, tax, superannuation, workers' compensation, leave management, and salary packaging.
  • Experience working with Oracle (PeopleSoft Global Payroll).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
