About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Melbourne CBD. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil designs and documentation for single and multi-unit dwellings and basements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality civil designs and documentation for residential and commercial projects
  • End-to-end ownership of project work from concept design to construction, including client meetings and stakeholder management
  • Liaise with councils, clients, and other project stakeholders to ensure accurate completion of projects
  • Work closely with internal engineers to ensure accurate completion of projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution
  • Previous experience with designing pump systems, onsite detention systems, outfall drains, and general civil drainage
  • Ideal experience with structural design for residential and low-rise apartment buildings
  • Experience in design of stormwater and drainage layout for residential buildings
  • Proficient in engineering design software tools, including OSD4, Melbourne Stormwater, and Music Modelling
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and project stakeholders
  • Advanced ability to interpret Australian standards and building codes
