About the Role

Green Light is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team and manage and support critical infrastructure components. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our systems, with a focus on Windows servers, SCOM, SCCM, and VMware environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Management: Administer and maintain Windows servers, including DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory (AD), to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • SCOM & SCCM: Utilize System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to monitor and manage the infrastructure, ensuring proactive issue resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Authentication: Manage ADFS for authentication from On-Premises environments, ensuring secure and seamless access to our systems.
  • Backup & Recovery: Implement and support Veritas Backup solutions, with experience with Zerto DR being desirable, to ensure business continuity and data protection.
  • Certificate Services: Oversee MS Certificate Services for secure communications and identity management, ensuring the integrity of our systems and data.
  • Virtualization & Storage: Manage VMware environments and Nutanix (desirable) for virtualization and storage needs, ensuring efficient resource utilization and scalability.
  • Disaster Recovery: Contribute to disaster recovery planning and implementation, ensuring our systems and data are protected and recoverable in the event of a disaster.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to the Windows environment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Expertise in managing Windows servers, including DNS, DHCP, and AD.
  • Strong experience with SCOM and SCCM.
  • Hands-on experience with ADFS for authentication and MS Certificate Services.
  • Familiarity with Zerto DR and Nutanix is desirable.
  • Extensive experience with VMware and Veritas Backup.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup with a minimum of 2 days onsite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
