Physical Security Operations Center ManagerA key role within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security organization, this position involves leading and managing the design, development, and implementation of a Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC).The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and executing the overall strategy to operationalize the PSOC capability from concept phase through to operations phases.Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide risk management subject matter expertise to support security leadership and teams – governance, personnel, information, logical, and physical.
  • Direct and oversee physical / protective security risk management.
  • Implement an effective protective security risk management plan, schedule, and roadmap, including stakeholder engagement and support, processes, and documentation.
  • Manage protective security risk deliverables – e.g. internal and external audit items, security deliverables annual PSPF Self-assessment and ASD Cyber Survey.
  • Prepare executive level presentation packs, briefings, papers, and reports to various internal and external governance bodies and stakeholders.
  • Develop, oversee, and review protective security policies, procedures, processes, guidelines, forms, and templates relating to protective security and day-to-day operations.
  • Identify vulnerable processes and systems and provide advice and support for remediation of security risk and reduce exposure to security threats to support new asset rollout.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization and externally in relation to risk management obligations, e.g. PSPF and ASD Cyber Survey (Essential 8).
