About the Role

This hands-on position will see you positively contribute to the daily production requirements of the factory by manufacturing and assembling Bradnam's products. You will have the opportunity to work on various lines, including Window, Door, and Robe production, or in the Despatch area, and be part of a great team.

The role involves a variety of duties, including:

  • Picking and cutting metal;
  • Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles;
  • Assisting the Service Team as required;
  • Performing some Store work;
  • Using hand and power tools;
  • Working across different lines in the factory, while maintaining a commitment to producing high-quality products;
  • Handling products in line with approved manual handling techniques and requirements, including some heavy lifting requirements;
  • Demonstrating and upholding a commitment to safe work practices and complying with all site requirements regarding mandatory PPE, sign-in procedures, and other processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture and assemble Bradnam's products to a high standard;
  • Work effectively in a team environment to meet production targets;
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently;
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles;
  • Assist the Service Team as required;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • A willingness to learn about our products and processes;
  • Good attention to detail and quality workmanship;
  • Experience with hand and power tools or a willingness to learn;
  • Punctuality and reliability with good communication skills;
  • Previous workplace experience with Aluminium Fabrication is highly regarded, but not essential;
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude and a commitment to safe work practices.
